Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year!

Welcome back everyone, this year is a time for us all to reconnect, collaborate and come together. 2023-24 school year is going to be amazing! It is time to celebrate our community and what it means to be a ROADRUNNER! For those of you getting to know me, this is my fifth year as the Vanderhoof Principal and I’m honored to continue in this role. I’m so excited to partner with all of you as we begin this new school year. I'm proud to say that I am a Jeffco graduate and I have been fortunate to have spent the majority of my career as an educator right here in the Arvada community. I served as a teacher, curriculum and instruction specialist, assistant principal and now a principal. Working as an educator and a lead learner has always brought me such joy and I look forward to each and everyday when I can spend it with all of you.

In addition to being an educator, I’m also a mom of two boys. Family and relationships are at the heart of how I lead and live my life. I feel so grateful to be a part of a school like Vanderhoof that cherishes community and believes in strong relationships like I do. Vanderhoof is full of rich traditions and has an amazing legacy of always being a school that supports students academic and social emotional needs. I look forward to continuing this legacy by serving in this role. Please don't hesitate to reach out and connect throughout the year.
